Phnom Penh is the Capital city of Cambodia. It used to be the most beautiful city in Asia during the 1960s. Usually people around the Country love the city very much. Whenever there is any special occasion they like to move from their small villages to the city.Similar to other people in this kingdom, Phnom Penh is the only place in the world I love the most.
Why Phnom Penh stays in my heart
Being the capital city and the heart of Cambodia, it gives me a lot of memories. My mother bore me here in a very lovely poor district of the city. My studying, making friends, going for a walk, having stressed, having good time and even having first love all are right here in Phnom Penh first of all.
Furthermore, Phnom Penh history is really interesting. It happened some time before 1431; there were an old lady called Don Penh. Found 5 small buddha statues in a hold a tree floating along mekong river, she ask all the people around to make a hill and build a pagoda on to keep the buddha statues. After that more and more people came to live there; until then in 1431 king Ponhear Yat moved from Angkor to the today Phnom Penh and declared that the city is the official capital of the Kingdom. Then the capital history continues until now.
Finally, the city geography is really great. it situated in the point that four river come across each other. Located in Cambodia, which is in tropical area, especially in the point, the city has a very good climat. In the morning, the wind from the four river refresh the city to be a lovely place to live.
All in All, Phnom Penh is really meaningful to me. It gives me a lot of memories, it has a long interesting history, and it is in a good geographic area. I hope that someday in the future I can do something to make the city more and more beautiful and meaningful to not only me.
