My thirst to see the most beautiful waterfalls in the world doesn’t end. I am always in a search of places where I could feel a touch of heavenly beauty and merge myself into the moment.
Whenever I see a video, a pic or any view of such places, Ahh,,, I really feel urged to go there in reality. Top of all recreational options and tourist spots, I always have a zest to go to a place where I could see a waterfall. I feel refreshed, revived and empowered by the nature whenever I go to see a waterfall. The mighty views around waterfalls really make me feel like I am in a fairy tale.

1. Niagra Falls
Though I tried to leave this one out as people may have visited there, may be, a number of times…But being my favorite I still want to mention this wonderful masterpiece of nature, which is truly one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world.
What I love about is, its mighty cascades that surround in the shape of an arc and the fog that give it a magical moment for those who are there.its located on border of Canada and the United states. It comprises of three separate waterfall components, including the horseshoe waterfall, the bridal veil waterfall and the American falls. It has the approximate vertical drop of about or more than 50 meters and has been declared to consist of highest flow rate in the world.
2. Tugela falls
The next most eye catching waterfall I found to be on this top 10 list is the Tuegal water falls. Tugela Falls is located in the Royal Natal National Park in the Republic of South Africa. The waterfall is the second-tallest in the world with five different free-leaping points with a total of more than 3,100 feet of drop. I bet, you would not regret if you plan to visit this marvelous place.
3. Langfossen falls
Another one that I would hesitate to recommend you for a trip is the Langfossen waterfalls. The Langfossen is a beautiful waterfall located in Hordaland County in Norway. The waterfall is so magnificent because it flows down a mountain over 2000 foot. The best thing about this place is you can enjoy a close shot of this mighty waterfall while driving your car. Exciting…isn’t it?
4. Dettifoss
Dettifoss captured my attention due to its breathtaking and enormous water flow at such a great height. A viewer may seem like if its flowing to take everybody along with it. You would really enjoy this unforgettable scenery. Dettifoss is said by many to be the most beautiful waterfall that can be found anywhere in Europe. The beauty is located in the Vatnajokuull National Park in Iceland’s northeast border.
5. Kaieteur Falls
Not too high but still it does catch the attention as of being one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. Kaieteur Falls is one of the world’s most powerful waterfalls, despite the fact that its highest elevation is just over 800 feet. This waterfall is located in Kaieteur National Park in Guyana. It beautiful with clean and clear water flowing though the green vegetation giving it a feel like in a heaven.
6. Yosemite Falls
I must say this one caught my attention as it seems like I am in an ancient era where I would be seeing fairies and giants coming through to visit me here.
Yosemite Fall is the largest waterfall located in the Yosemite National Park, measuring 759 miles long from the base to the top of the waterfall. There are three sections of this popular waterfall which seems to flourish during the spring time.
7. Plitvice Lakes and Falls
If you want to have a calm and soothing feel in the enchanting sounds of flowing water and falls in a lake, then this should be your first choice. No terrifying heights to look at the waterfall. Numerous delicate waterfalls flowing smoothly to give a spectacular yet soothing effect for the visitor.
Located in Croatia, the Plitvice Lakes and Falls are the largest and one of the oldest parks and waterfall in Europe. The park and waterfall, sits on more than 73,350 acres of land.
8. Cuquenan Falls
I must say, it’s a perfect spot for an adventurer. The view consists of the mighty look of the two mountains and the splendid waterfall adds beauty and thrill to its view. This waterfall is the second largest in Venezuela, second to only the Angel Waterfall. The waterfall measures approximately 674 miles in length.
9. Iguazu Falls
One of the most wondrous spots that would amaze you for sure is the Iguazu waterfall. Individuals traveling to South America generally plan a trip to the beautiful Iguazu Falls. The waterfall is divided into four separate waterfalls which are larger than Niagara Falls.

The last but not the least of course is the Hanakapiai Falls. The Hanakapiai Falls is a popular waterfall and tourist attraction found in Kauai Hawaii.
