Of course, you can do many things on that day such as giving gift, sightseeing, or go to super markets, etc. However, going to cinema in order to watch movies is such a sweet time as well. On that day, i pretty sure that there will be good shows in order to strengthen your relationship.
The Princess Bride
Romance, Sword Fights, Humor, and Wit this film has it all. Some may view it as an adventure film, others a fantasy, but truly at its heart it’s a love story and an extremely charming one. The film tells the story of two long lost lovers and the adventures and mishaps they try to reunite. Princess Bride has a classic fairytale feel to it without taking itself too seriously.
The Time Travelers Wife
Another romantic film with an underlying sci-fi aspect to it, it’s adapted from a novel and features Rachel McAdams as the wife of Eric Bana’s character. Eric Bana’s character has a ‘condition’ which causes him to travel back in time involuntarily. The film is a genuine emotional rollercoaster ride as you see the two characters struggle with this condition and yet remain forever in love.
A Walk to Remember
If you are in the mood for a sappy tearjerker then A Walk to Remember is the perfect choice. Shane West plays the popular sport jockey with a heart of gold and Mandy Moore a plain looking but confident young girl. The two falls in love eventually after some conflict early on but don’t be mistaken this is not another teen love story and will make to cry and remind you the value of simple things.
Tangled
Disney films are a great hit on Valentine’s day and Tangled is one of the more recent classics in Disney’s long list of making great romantic films. It tells the story of Rapunzel with a twist, instead of finding her prince Rapunzel is instead ‘rescued’ by a scoundrel. During their journey Rapunzel discovers the world for the first time and the two fall in love. The film features great art style, witty dialogue, adventure, humor and genuine emotion.
