Airline from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
Actually, Cambodia has both international and domestic flight that you can fly to any place. Everyday Cambodia Angkor Air, the local airline company, has scheduled its flight regularly back and forth between Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. The cost of the one way ticket flight is just 109$ and for the round trip is just 210$.
Travelling by the plane is the fastest way. First it takes you just about 15 min to go from the center of Siem Reap town to the Siem Reap international airport. Then you just spend about another hour, you will arrive Phnom Penh at Phnom Penh international airport.
Ferry or Boat From Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
The trip by the mean is usually run from July until March, when the water level of the river is higher. In Phnom Penh the boat departs from the Phnom Penh Port on the Sisowath Quay then the trip ends at Chong Khneas village, about 12 km on the south of Siem Reap town. Travelers have to buy the ticket around 25 to 35$ and it takes them from 4 to 6 hours to approach their goal.
Bus From Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
To travel by bus is the most popular way to go between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Most of the tourists usually choose the way because they can enjoy the view along the road and it is so cheap. The average cost of the bus ticket is just 5$. Moreover, they spend just only 5 to 6 hour for the whole trip.
Taxi From Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
There are two kind of taxi you can choose. They are Shared taxi and Private taxi.
First, it is about shared taxis. In the taxi, you have to travel with other people and with the taxi you may spend $10 per person. It departs from southwest corner of Central Market in Phnom Penh. And it takes you about 5 to 8 hours.
Second, it is about private taxi. For this taxi, you hire it for only you and your group and you may spend about $65 or more for the whole car. For this, it takes you around 4 to 5 hours to go. Never forget to negotiate the price because sometime they can do with the cheaper price and you have to know that the better the car is, the higher the price.
