Barbecue season is upon us so it’s time to start those cookouts by the pool. But when you are new to outdoor grilling, or when it’s time to replace that old grill from a few years ago, you want to be sure and choose the right grill. That’s why Khue and I have decided to review some of the top grills on the market today. Some that we’ll list here are for the larger oudoor party but others are for the basic family barbeque guy or gal.

The large family man or outdoor grill aficcionado just has to have a Caja China. This is the grill that can do it all, whether it’s rotiserie chicken or a ful baby pig. This is the barbecue that adds that special flavor. It’s the basis of every outdoor party. It’s definetly unreal as to how easy it is to roast a full 100lb pig with this roaster. The Caja China comes with 2 stainless steel racks, a marinating syringe, metal handles and even a recipe book. There are also other accesories you can get for it. Caja China is certainly one of the most well known manufacturers in the industry and this is reflected a bit in the price. Still at about $400, it is well worth it for those large pool parties, tailgating parties or outdoor shindigs.

If you are a sports fan or a student you may want something that is easy and practical. So I’m placing the Blacktop 360 in second place for this reason. It offers a cool modern design and it even has a deep fryer in the center. This is an outdoor grill that comes mostly assembled so it has an easy setup and is very sturdy and seems well built. The only slight drawback is that usage isn’t totally intuitive, because it is rather high-tech and you do need to provide a couple of double A batteries for the igniter. It offers 452 square inches of cooking space and includes some nice features like a cutting board, thermometer, 3 position cover and even a carrying bag. This one could earn 5 out of 5 rating.
